Lance is a North Carolina native, and has lived in Winston-Salem for nearly five years. He jokes that him being from Jackson (eastern NC) and his wife, Courtney, being from Swannanoa (western NC), they just “met in the middle” — Winston-Salem — and started a family.
Lance has served as an insurance agent for over a decade, most of that time being with Farm Bureau Insurance, and in early 2022 he purchased his own independent agency/franchise with Goosehead Insurance. His agency offers personal and commercial insurance with over 40+ carriers and operates in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia.
Having been tied so closely to the real estate industry over the last ten years, Lance decided that he wanted to expand beyond insurance and serve clients as a realtor, too. He chose to work as a broker with Adams Carolinas Realty because of, in his words, the “company’s obvious passion for people and clear desire to always do what’s right by their clients.”
Lance and Courtney married in January 2020 and have three children: Kynlee (12), Avett (10), and Oliver (1). They also have a 2-year old pup named Maisy, who’s a smaller-than-normal King Charles Cavalier with a big personality.
